I Hate:
I HATE children.

I fight new things like hell. I resist change, like mad, kicking and screaming, and then adapt instantly when I stop seeing the thing as new. Changing it back will cause the whole process all over again... I *can* adapt. Just not gracefully. I'm very, very OCPD, and because this is starting to sound more like a disclaimer than a profile, I'll mention that these are all things I love about myself, and theyâ??ve helped me more than theyâ??ve hurt me.

I really, really, really don't care about politics, or what this or that famous person said. I hate history and philosophy and things without definitive answers. Math might be the closest thing to God out there.

I Like:
Little, tiny things make me burst with happy. Opening a new DVD case and getting that annoying sticker off in one shot. Finding a soda I've never had before. Getting a compliment from a stranger. Cleaning. There's lots more. Little things make me really unhappy too. Like, I hate having water on my face, especially near my eyes. Big things, on the other hand, I tend to deal with really easily.

Ambition: I think most people look at ambitious in terms of how far you want to reach up the ladder, where I tend to look at it as how perfectly I can hold to whatever rung I'm on, until I've been there so long I would rather fall off the ladder than stay on for the ride, at which point I switch ladders. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am *awfully* ambitious about doing whatever task I'm doing very well, but I'm not ambitious in your typical corporate, leave your mark as you climb sort of way, or in that get as many college degrees as you can way.

I'm currently going to college on Long Island as well as living here. I enjoy doing pretty much anything. A random list of things would be chillen with friends, working out, and paintballing. Describing myself is like waking up from a really vivid dream and attempting to write it down--the feel of being in the dream fades so quickly that a few sentences in you're just writing words that have less and less connection to what you're trying to describe. Not that I'm lacking self-awareness, but it's like what I see when I look in the mirror vs. what I see when I look at a photo of myself. How does someone try to 'summarize' themselves? I'm cute, smart, funny in that sarcastic/witty way, ambitious, and I'm looking for someone similar to spend a little time with. Living the dream. I have had so many interesting adventures in my life. Travelling and being open to whatever the journey tosses my way has afforded me so many incredible experiences. It makes no sense to me. I have tried various carbonated drinks throughout my lifetime, and I have hated it each time. It's just terrible. 1000 words yet? Please? Damn it.

I'm divorced going on four years and that's ok. I have two great boys who live with their mother who I get along with.
I'm an outgoing person and enjoy the company of others.

I enjoy being active in my leisure time just as much as I enjoy quiet activities such as visiting museums, historical sites, parks and the beaches. I like to take road trips with good company to explore new places. In the winter months I often travel to ski, snowboard, snowshoe or cross-county ski. You just have to experience moonlit snowshoeing in the Green Mountains. In the summer months I'll often go biking, trail running, kayaking, jet skiing, fishing or surf casting.

Fitness is very important to me. Before my professional career I was a nationally ranked competitive weightlifter with aspirations of making it to the Olympic team. These days when most people are sitting in front of the TV watching someone else live life, I'm most likely at the gym, running, hiking, mountain biking, or at the driving range.

I enjoy dining at different restaurants. My tastes include: Continental, Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican, Thai, Indian/Pakistani, Chinese and Japanese. Dinner, a glass of wine or four and intelligent conversation with the right person can be the evening's entertainment. I,ve been here for a while and I didn't know how rude most people are,they don't even answer when you say hello.Smart,mature and"sincere'' is what all they say but they don't look like.Anyway,I think is better be alone.I always thinking myself who Am I and what is next.Sometimes I'm quite and others a litle loud.I like to wake up at 3:00 am and star writing in my journal.or just go to the living room to listen to the silent.I love sex,touch,feel the skin that is something that I love.
I like to walk and like to talk.I'm a good listener.

*****I'm a Red Letter Christian. Religion is about rules. And for me, Jesus was all about breaking the rules. Actually, He says that the most important thing is to love one another. So, that's what I do. I try my hardest every day to do the loving thing in each situation. As for Christianity, I was raised Christian. I went to a Christian school. Then I left God for a long time, but He never left me. I feel like Christianity chose me. I didn't choose it. The only reason that I make such a strong point about my faith in my profile is because I don't want a guy to get the wrong impression of me. Kinda like " This is me, just so ya know. I'm putting it out there right off the bat."

This is all new to me - looking for a friend, partner, companion - love baseball, tennis, movies and theater. I'm really just a teenager at heart while still being a dad for my 3 kids. I've been lucky enough to be able to spend a lot of time with them. I take my responsibilities seriously but try never to take myself too seriously. Looking for someone with whom I can find fun and passion. Iâ??m more comfortable in jeans and a polo shirt than a tuxedo, but the tuxedo is clean and ready when needed. But most important - companionship!

I like to hang out taking photos, listening to some good tunes. I tend to be laid back and when I meet new people I am very reserved but I do warm up. I do hold fast to my ideas of right and wrong. As you can see I am not much for typing. i work in the food indy which is nice yet when I am done I really don't like to eat since I see food every day. I try to hit the gym 3 times a week to keep fit, and to listen to my tunes while working out.

Music is good to me, music is life. And something to listen to rather then the bosses. I also do a fair amount ofcooking as well for my family and to a pint at my job. As well I am sucker for a good laugh and a good time.

Just finishing building bungalow on Long Island Beach...one kid starting college...one kid just graduated.....love kayaking in Pt Washington Bay...play ice hockey (goalie every Friday nite)...self deprecating (worked past 30 years in music biz which is full on "deprecating" -lol)....build sandcastles in competitions....play keyboards....kind of like giving more than receiving...Used to be smart (graduated high school 16; college 20) but must have lost it (lol) Believe things happen for a reason Love traveling and stimulation Dog Appreciating what life throws my way Paying attention to "coincidences" (starting to think there are none) Spiritual but not religious Dedicated to living life to it's fullest Love loving and being loved Appreicate Romance and fun
