Glenwood Landing Elementary School Reviews

“As a new parent to the district I have to say that so far I am impressed. The only thing missing is after school programs. But that is not a reason to choose a school.” This review was posted by a parent.

“This School was the reason why we choose Glen Head. It was a wonderful experience for my Child the teachers showed us a great deal of care and concern. It is a warm nurturing environment, with relatively small class sizes. The Physical Beauty of the school is more than skin deep.” This review was posted by a parent.

“Your child will never fall through the cracks at GWL. Where other schools may fail to get to know their students individually, the staff and faculty at GWL strive to connect with each and every student who passes through its regal red doors. Small class size and highly trained educators combine to ensure that the focus of attention is on both the curriculum and the student. Philosophically, some may find that GWL falls short in providing a realistic impression of the adult world and its workings through an overly sensitive approach to student interaction rather than teaching kids the skills of self determination, self direction and, for lack of a better expression, developing a 'tough skin' to withstand a world where criticism and differentiation is part of life.” This review was posted by a parent.
